Community

As a church we consider being part of our community important! We like to care for our community, working hand in hand and building real relationships with those around us. This includes supporting and connecting with police services, schools, and other emergency services. From time to time we offer courses that help the church and non-church members to do life better!

Congregation

Our congregational life is centred around communal worship on a Sunday morning. Our service time is 09h00. Kids for Jesus (Children’s Church) also meet at this time during school terms.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to participate.

Women's Auxiliary

The Milnerton Branch of the Women's Auxiliary (WA) offers a full programme of activities ranging from social to missional in nature. Please contact Maureen Mildenhall at 082 298 2228 for more information.

Prayers

We have a team of dedicated pray-ers who regularly pray for our members and others in need, after Sunday services and through our Prayer Chain. Bev Jenkings heads up this ministry, please contact the office@milnertonmethodist.co.za or Whatsapp with your prayer requests.

Prayer Is The Engine Room Of The Church!

We have a team of dedicated pray-ers who regularly pray for or members and others in need, as well as during local, national and international crises. Workshops are arranged for training and encouragement.

We have the following prayer teams:

Prayer chain
A prayer chain is a group of people who pray in private for the needs of others. This is available for anyone who needs prayer for any issue.

Prayer meetings
We regularly organize communal times of prayer as the need arises. It may be a planned prayer meeting, or it may simply mean that the church doors are open for an hour or two. Come along and pray if you have a need or want to intercede for someone or something.

Prayer team
The prayer team is available after church to pray for individuals in need
